  1. SMS OPT-IN PROCESS

  • Types of Messages:
  • Appointment reminders
  • Quote and project status updates
  • Service notifications
  • Promotional or marketing offers (only for customers who separately opt in to marketing messages)
  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies; average 1–2 messages per month. Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
  • CSEBrevard.com’s SMS program uses a clear, documented opt-in process to ensure all recipients provide express consent before receiving messages. Our opt-in process works as follows:
  • Initial Collection Points. Customers can opt in to receive SMS messages through:
  • our website contact/quote request form;
  • in person at our office; or
  • by phone, with the request documented at the time.
  • Sample keyword: Text [KEYWORD] to [NUMBER] to opt in to receive messages from CSEBrevard.com.
  • Explicit Consent Collection. At each collection point, we:
  • require an affirmative action (checking an unchecked box or signing a dedicated section — never a pre-checked box or passive opt-in);
  • present clear disclosure language before consent is given; and
  • keep consent language separate from other terms and conditions.
  • Required Disclosures. Before consent is given, customers are told:
  • the specific types of messages they will receive (appointment reminders, quote and project updates, service notifications);
  • the approximate message frequency (1–2 per month); and
  • that message and data rates may apply.
  • Sample Messages “CSEBrevard.com: Reminder — your free consultation is scheduled for tomorrow, [Date] at [Time]. Reply CONFIRM to confirm or RESCHEDULE to change. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Info: https://www.csebrevard.com/terms-of-use/”
  • “CSEBrevard.com: Your installation is confirmed for [Date] at [Time]. Our crew will begin work as discussed. Questions? Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Info: https://www.csebrevard.com/terms-of-use/”
  • “CSEBrevard.com: Update — the permit for your project #[XXXX] has been approved. We’ll be in touch to schedule installation. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Info: https://www.csebrevard.com/terms-of-use/”
  • “CSEBrevard.com: We need a few more details to finalize your quote. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Info: https://www.csebrevard.com/terms-of-use/”
  • “CSEBrevard.com: Notice — our office will be closed [Date] for [holiday/reason]. For urgent matters, call (321) 289-8575. We resume normal hours on [Date]. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Info: https://www.csebrevard.com/terms-of-use/”
